friday, february 13th was my birthday. my 14th birthday to be exact. i was very excited this year. i've always wanted to be 14, it's kind of like some weird accomplishment that i don't understand. anyways, when I woke up that morning i was super bouncy and hyper. the bus ride was boring like always [no meghan on today] but the moment i saw my friends the day had started. i was attacked with 'happy birthday curtis! it's your birthday curtis!' and so on. when we got into the gym they all handed my the birthday presents they had gotten me. i felt a little bad, i never buy anything for their birthdays. that passed. i was given a stuffed leopard [which i named todd!] a superman keychain thing, batman stickers, and some lacey arms [get it?] that wasn't all. in band class, since it was also our band directors birthday and we were having a big party anyways, i got a cake. a WHOLE cake just for me.
on sunday, the 15, i got my very first phone. my parents tricked me [i totally didn't see it coming] we had been driving along when my dad announced that he had to get his phone checked. i thought nothing of it. of course, when the guy asked if we needed any help my mom goes 'we're getting a phone for her' and i was so excited. it's a lg scoop, red. very nice.
